Since the New Year started, I started to feel an ease of homesickness.  I had a dream I was home with my family and friends.  Along with the bitter, winter cold, the blues are coming.  Is the fact that I'm talking about this meaning I'm in that phase already?  I have this feeling that it will become worse after my return from the warm weather in Thailand and Cambodia....

This mornings news coverage about Kohaku ratings by artist with Arashi receiving 43.2% ratings & (42.8% in 関西)with good audience rating. The highest was Dreams Come True with 50.1% .

昨年大みそかの「第６０回ＮＨＫ紅白歌合戦」の歌手別視聴率が４日、明らかになった。

　昨年はオリコンシングルチャートの１～３位を独占、デビュー１０周年にして初登場となった嵐は４３・２％。第２部では、絢香以降の終盤４組に次ぐ数字となり健闘した。第１部の午後８時３９分前後に楽屋ロビーで北島三郎（７３）と繰り広げたトークシーンは、この時間帯としては４１・５％という高い数字。やはり、嵐への注目度は高かった。

Good morning! Ohno Satoshi’s ARASHI DISCOVERY~!
Today’s question is from Hazuki-san. Happy New Year. Then, an event in New Year where the first calligraphy is written with brush, what is it called? Please choose from these next three:
1　初詣 (hatsumoude = one’s first visit of the year to a shrine, made during the New Year)
2　書き初め (kakizome = a special piece of calligraphy for the New Year)
3　餅つき(mochitsuki = rice-cake making)
（BGM：Believe）
The answer is number 2 [kakizome].
Then, this week I’ll answer the question from Hazuki-san who has provided our topic today. [It’s finally year 2010. For new year holiday, the school homework is to do a kakizome. If Ohno-kun were to write this year’s objective in the form of kakizome, what would you write?] I see, kakizome ne. That’s right, what would I write, I wonder. Well, last year, I thought to “live in a simple way” I’ve decided like that, and it went exactly like that. But this year, I’m thinking not to do that kind of reasoning anymore. Eh, maybe I’ll shut myself inside the room. Shut myself in! Why shutting myself in, To draw pictures. Now, I have an unfinished picture. I want to finish that this year! Yes, definitely. Yes. I’ll draw that picture that I’ve been concerned about, but I’ll finish it within this year. I’ve decided. Everyone, I said that right? I would finish this within this year, I said that. So I’ll restrain my self from going fishing.Because I”ll get sunburnt. That’s why. Ah! There’s that, too! This year, I’ll be white! How about this? Nee. I’ll be white. That’s why, fishing, I’ll still be going, but I’ll be doing it with so much sun-block that I will be very white. With this, it can be settled without me being scolded. And, when I restrain my self from going fishing, I will draw pictures. With that said, Automatically I’ll be white. Right? Eh, next time I’ll be the whitest! [You are too white! ]I think, let’s get myself scolded like that. Eh~ everyone, look forward to it! 【相葉雅紀】 Aiba Big Goal: To have a guest from overseas on AnS. Small Goal: To get rid of spilt-ends.

【松本潤】Jun Big Goal: To climb Mount Fuji. Small Goal: To be invited as guest on AnS.

【二宮和也】 Nino Big Goal: 'Music' To create the music for a game. Small Goal: To take care of health.

He was asked who the copyright will belong to & whether if its Johnny's, if so it will be spilt amongst the five of them. So after this he reconsidered & change his goal.^^  

【櫻井翔】 Sho Big Goal: To have a hobby. Small Goal: To be a 'morning' person. (Ogura-san remarked if Sho stayed with him for month he could reach this goal & Sho replied that its way too early at 2 or 3am)

【大野智】  Ohno Big Goal: To go back to drawing (even though he won't stop fishing but do less). Small Goal: To be fairer (white skin).
