Interview after recording HnA Episode One

―すごく楽しい収録でした！
松本：僕たちも楽しかったです！純粋に知らないことばかり盛りだくさんで。今日の収録だけで、3週間くらいネタには困りませんね（笑）
櫻井：規模も大きいことから身近なことまで・・・・・・。
松本：網羅してたよね！
相葉：今回の収録では、わりと”うわあ～”っていう大きな事が多かった。
二宮：ゲストの人たちの食いつきも良かったですね。
大野：ものすごく面白かった。タメになる番組だなって。
―It was really enjoyable recording!
Matsumoto(Jun): We enjoyed it too! There were plenty of things we never knew, honestly. Only for this recording, I didn't have any difficulties on what to talk for 3 weeks.
Sakurai(Sho): It covers things from large scales to the things which are familiar to us all....
Jun: Everything’s included!
Aiba: In this recording, there were quite a few big things that makes you go like "Uwa~".
Ninomiya(Nino): Guests adapted to the topics quite well too.
Ohno: It was extremely fun. I thought it is benifitial program.

―初回収録が終わって早速ですが、オリスタ読者から”嵐に調査して欲しい秘密”がたくさん寄せられています！
相葉：どれどれ。「なぜ右利きと左利きの人がいるのか？」（新潟県・18歳女性）。
櫻井：あ～、それ不思議なんだけど、僕は足が左利きで、手は右利きなんですよ。ニノは（手も足も）どっちも両利きなんだよね？
二宮：あっ、でも基本は食べる時は左で、書くのは右。
櫻井：どうしてなんだろうね～。
二宮：不思議だよね。
相葉：番組で解明できればいいよね。
松本：さて「一度使ったお札は、どんなところまで流れていくのか？」（山形県・16歳女性）という依頼。これは是非、リーダーに
検証してもらいたいですね。
大野：んっ、何？？？
松本：ある人がお金を払った時にもらうおつりのお札が、どういうふうに流れて行くのか追跡していく、という・・・・・・。
櫻井：何年くらいかかるのかな。
大野：やってみたいね。
松本：（お札が）同じところに戻ってきたりするのかな？
櫻井：あ～、それ面白いね。
二宮：ゴールがないだろうからね。
―This is right after finishing the first recording (for HnA), there are so many letters from readers of Oricon Style about "the secrets which they want Arashi to research"!
Aiba: Let me see. "Why is that a person is left-handed or right-handed?" (Niigata-ken/18yr/F)
Sho: Ah~, I’m wondering about it, because I'm left-footed and right-handed. Nino is ambidextrous, right?
Nino: Well, but basically I use left hand for eating and right hand for writing.
Sho: Why does it happen?
Nino: It is mysterious.
Aiba: Hopefully we can find out about it through the program.
Jun: The next request is "Where do all the used money go to?" (Yamagata-ken/16yr/F). I must ask Leader to verify it.
Ohno: Um? What???
Jun: When somebody paid money and received the note for change, youn wonder if the note is going anywhere and you track after it...
Sho: How long does it take.
Ohno: I want to try it.
Jun: Is it possible that the note will come back to where it was?
Sho: Ah~,it's interesting.
Nino: Maybe there is no end for it.

―もっと紹介したいのですが、嵐のみなさんへの質問も寄せられていますので。「”メンバーのここが謎”というところは？」（大阪府・16歳女性）
5人：うーん・・・・・・謎かあ～？
櫻井：そういえば今日、楽屋にあるクーラーボックスにチクワが入っていたんですよ。スタッフの人に用意していただいたのか、それとも
松本くんが持ってきて入れたのか？（一同爆笑）。
松本：あの・・・・・・。オレがコンビニに行って買ってきました。
二宮：なるほど～。
櫻井：びっくりした！（クーラーボックスを）開けたらチクワが入ってたから、ＴＢＳの方はチクワを用意してくれるのかなと思っちゃって（笑）
二宮：僕が開けた時には、既に1本食べられていましたからね～（笑）。
櫻井："松本くんの謎"ではなく、”クーラーボックスの謎”でしたね。
―I'd like to introduce more requests but there is also questions headed to Arashi.
"What it the mistery of member?" (Osakafu/16yr/F)
All: Umm......mystery~?
Sho: Well, today, there Chikuwa was something in the cooler-box at the dressing room. I was wondering, "was it the the staffs who prepared it" or "Matsumoto-kun brought it and keep it in there"? (all laugh)
Jun: Well....I went to the convinience store and bought it.
Nino: I seeee~.
Sho: I was surprised! When I opened the cooler-box, there was a chikuwa there, so I thought that it is normal that TBS staffs prepared chikuwa usually (laugh)
Nino: When I open it, one of the chikuwa was already eaten (laugh)
Sho: It is not "a mystery of Matsumoto-kun" but it is a "a mystery of cooler-box".

―松本さんはチクワがお好きなんですか？
5人：（大爆笑）
松本：（照れくさそうに）たまたま、タンパク質を採りたくてチクワを食べてました。だから、すごくチクワが好きなわけではないですよ（笑）
―Does Matsumoto-san likes a chikuwa?
All: (big laugh)
Jun: (self-consciously) it's just happened... I wanted to take protein, so I ate a chikuwa. So it is not that I really like Chikuwa (laugh)

―分かりました（笑）。では、メンバーの謎を・・・・・・。
松本：相葉君が海外に行くと必ずお土産を買ってきてくれるんだけど、なぜか必ず動物の描かれたＴシャツを買ってくるんです。この間、
僕も仕事で海外に行ってお土産を買おうと思った時に感じたんだけど、実は、動物が描かれたＴシャツを探すのって相当大変なはずなんだよ。
相葉：チョ～探して、空港とかでも買ってますよ！実際なかなかないよ。でも、あたかもそれしか売っていなかったかのように買ってくるの。
二宮：うん。お土産は謎ですね。いろいろ個性が出て。
―I see (laugh) Well, talk about a mystery of member....
Jun: Everytime Aiba-kun goes abroad, he always buy us a souvenir. I don't know why, but he always buys us a T-shirts with animal drawing. The other day, I went overseas for work too, and I felt it when I tried to buy a souvenir... actually it should be really hard to find a T-shirts with animal drawing.
Aiba: I REALLY look for those and I also buy them at the airport too! Actually they are rare, but I buy them and act as if these were the only ones on sale.
Nino: Yes. The souvenir is a mystery. It show different characters....

―では、次の質問です！「今までいちばん楽しかったロケは何ですか？」（東京都・15歳女性）
松本：やっぱり僕は『ＵＳＯ！？ジャパン』（01年4月～03年9月までＴＢＳ系で放送されていた嵐出演のバラエティ）での"心霊ロケ”ですね。
櫻井：あれは怖かったな～。
二宮：全然楽しくなかった。
相葉：もう二度とやりたくない（笑）。
櫻井：だって、青木ヶ原樹海のロケで最後の検証スポットまで行ったんですよ。すると、奥から光がみえてきて、一緒にいた心霊者の方が言うわけです。
「櫻井さん、相葉さん大変です！あと30分で魔界への扉が開きます」って（一同大爆笑）。"魔界か～！！魔界はマズイ”って、いまだに謎ですよ～（笑）。
二宮：そこは、この番組でも解明してほしいところではあるかもしれませんよ
櫻井："魔界への扉”を！？
松本：”ナゾ解明テレビ”ですからね。
相葉：分からないけど、そういうものもこれから出てくるかもしれないよね。
大野：（小さい声で）怖ぇ～。
二宮：大野さんは、楽しかったロケってあるんですか？
大野：やっぱり”ＵＳＯ”の心霊ロケで”髪の毛が伸びる人形”を検証したのね。
スピリチュアルカウンセラーの江原（啓之）さんとお仕事させていただいた時に言われたんだけど、その時の人形の手がひざに憑いていたっていうんだよね。
―So next question! "What is your most enjoyable filming trip?" (Tokyo/15yr/F)
Jun: I’m pretty sure for me that is a filming trip for a psychic phenomenon at "USO! Japan" (TBS Variety show by Arashi  4/01'~9/03').
Sho: That was really scary~
Nino: It wasn't fun at all.
Aiba: I will never do it again (laugh)
Sho: Because we went to verify a spot at the Sea of Trees in Aokigahara. Then the light came out from the depths, and the spiritualist who were there with us said "Now this is serious, Sakurai-san and Aiba-san! In 30 minutes, the door for a place full of demons will open" (all big laugh) saying "a place full of demons~!!A place full of demons is bad" and it is still a mystery (laugh)
Nino: It might be the thing this program(HnA) will require you to make it clear.
Sho: About "the door to the place full of demons"!?
Jun: Because it is a TV show to make a mystery clear.
Aiba: I'm not sure but maybe these topics will come out.
Ohno: ( in a low voice) scary~.
Nino: Have you had any enjoyable filmimg trip before, Ohno-san?
Ohno: I'm pretty sure I had... I verified "hair grow long doll" in the a filming trip for a psychic phenomenon at "USO". When I worked with the spiritual counselor, Ehara (Hiroyuki) told me that the hand of the doll was possessed to my knee.

―えっ～！！！
二宮：それが原因で、大野さんはずっと、ひざにコルセットみたいなサポーターをしながらライヴしていたんですね？
松本：そういえばしてたね、サポーター。
大野：5年くらい憑いてたらしい。
―Eeehhhhh~!!
Nino: Because of it, Ohno-san was wearing a corset-type knee supporter for a long time even while doing live concerts.
Jun: Now that you’ve mentioned it, I remember you were wearing a supporter.
Ohno: It was possessed for about 5years.

―すごいですね・・・・・・。
相葉：すごいよな～。
二宮：でも、良かったよね。
―It's incredible, isn't it....
Aiba: Yeah it is
Nino: But it was good to he found out about it

―大野さんのひざは治ったんですか？
大野：うん。結構長くかかったけど。
―Is Ohno-san's knee cured now?
Ohno: Yep, it took so long for it.
