Bought Death Note 4-DVD Platinum Collection Pack. Rewatched Death Note, The Last Name, and L: Change the World for the Nth time (I only watched the Making-of DVD once^^;). I’ve never read the comic of Death Note, but after watching the 3 movies so many times, these are the 55 things which I find quite amusing. Read on, maybe you’ll be amused too. Maybe… we should all watch the 3 movies again XD
*Please don’t read if you had not watched either one of Death Note, The Last Name, or L: Change the World. There are some points of inter-linking (but more focused on The Last Name). And, DN = Death Note
1. 
Light bites his nails?
2. 
Isn’t it very awkward to be staring at the screen through the CCTVs in the Yagami household, especially when Mrs. Yagami or Sayu-chan’s changing?
3. 
Why is it so easy for L to gain access to others’ house to fix CCTVs, like in Takada Kiyomi’s and Amane Misa’s house?
4. Since Light can ask Ryuk to write the names of all the police in the end of The Last Name, why couldn’t he ask Ryuk to write L’s name?
5. Where were Shiori’s parents at her funeral?
6. 
How did Light put the mini TV in that pack of “original flavour” potato chips and seal it back like it has never been opened before? Well Light had to pull them open.
7. 
Is the connection inside the potato chips packet good?
8. Since Light was acting like he’s studying, why couldn’t he just write the criminal’s name normally instead of writing that wobbly left-hand writing inside the packet?
9. 
If Light had already written Misora Naomi’s name in the DN before she told him in the art gallery, why did he take out his pen? Just for the effect of it huh.
10. Where does L get all his money? Cool computers and stuffs. Surely he has to pay all his agents too right?

How come Light (or anyone else) cannot touch Ryuk, but Rem can touch Takada Kiyomi?
12. 
And since Light cannot touch Ryuk, how can he hit Ryuk here? Ryuk did say “ouch”.
13. 
Why did L have to burn 2 DNs? I thought Rem already burnt his DN when he became ashes, so there’s be only one left, right?
14. Where is Ryuk after L burnt his DN? I just know Misa lost her memory, again.
15. Oh ya, since Rem burnt his DN, and Misa’s holding the other DN (supposedly), what is that additional DN which Light’s dad took to NY to be experimented?

And which DN was Light anticipating here? Ryuk’s DN? Or Rem’s?
17. Did Rem kill Watari just to proof that Misa’s not the 2nd Killer (Kira)? But L knew that DN users can control time of death, didn’t he? Or did Rem kill Watari because another half of Misa’s lifespan is lost and he wants to help her?
18. But then it’s not like the remaining lifespan of an old man life Watari can do much help to restore Misa’s lifespan. Again, according to what Ryuk said about Death Gods surviving on the remaining lifespan of those written in the DN, shouldn’t Watari’s remaining lifespan go to Rem instead of Misa?
19. Really, what’s the point of killing Watari? And why did L choose to fall dead right at that instead he saw Watari fall out from the elevator?
20. Will the DN ever be used up? As in, no more space to write?
21. Since Light is so good at cutting out pieces of papers from the Death Note, why didn’t L realize that there are “holes” in the DN when he replaced Misa’s? You mean the pages grow back?
22. Why didn’t Ryuk become ashes when he wrote Light’s name in the DN?
23. All Death Gods speak and write Japanese? Or they have language classes?
24. Since Light’s dad didn’t go to NY, he actually saw and heard what Light did through the CCTV (again). But why didn’t he know that Light wrote his name in the DN (though a fake one)?
25. When Misa asked to be Light’s girlfriend, I laughed cause I wondered about her reaction when she knows what Light did to Shiori. But apparently she never did.
26. The police only saw what Takada Kiyomi wrote, they didn’t find Misa’s victims in the DN. And Light’s DN seems brand new too when he picked it up. Surely there must be other users before him… maybe not (not on the news). So will all the names written in the DN be erased when the user gives up his/her ownership? How come this isn’t written in the “How to Use It”? It should go together with the “memory being erased” one right?
27. If Rem loves Misa so much, he wouldn’t have exchanged the Death God’s eyes with half her lifespan in the first place. And now he wasted it by turning into ashes.
28. 
Why is L’s office/home/hiding place/whatever in the first part of L: Change the World much more simple (no sweets even!) than the one in Japan? If he can do just as much with only one computer (well he did find out that Kira’s 97% in Japan), why does he need so many things in Japan then?
29. Why use Red Hot Chilli Peppers song for a Japanese show? Why not use Arashi songs (since Fujiwara Tatsuya does resemble Ohno)? --> XD
30. How did L know about the “original flavour” potato chips (end of Death Note 1)? Light would’ve already erased all the evidence right after using it.
31. 
Anyone who touched the DN can see any Death God (the investigation team only touched Rem’s DN in The Last Name but they can see Ryuk as well), why must Light touch Misa’s DN (when he first met her) to see Rem?
32. How did L get all his supply of sweets? Deliveries?
33. Did L really listen to “Heaven’s Door”? Or did he simply google up Misa?
34. 
Misa recognized Light as Killer (Kira) because there wasn’t any lifespan under his name. But if a DN user’s lifespan cannot be seen, how can Ryuk see Light’s lifespan? You mean Misa’s Death God’s eyes are less capable?
35. Does L ever change his clothes?
36. How come Light is the only smart one not to exchange half his lifespan for the Death God’s eyes? Too bad, he died early anyway.
37. Ryuk likes apples. What does Rem like?
38. Why does L seem so stupid compared to Light after Light lost his memory of the DN?
39. Death Gods are interesting. You didn’t ask, so they didn’t tell you.
40. L (not Matsuda Kenichi)’s acting skill is good. He made Light think he’s dead. He even made his heartbeat stop.
41. Ryuk’s acting skill is bad. L: Is Light’s death one that a god should die? Ryuk: Err… umm… er… CG I know, super fake one.

Misa: My enemy is Otsuka Ai, but I ended up growing fat myself. I thought this was funny.
43. How come we don’t see a trace of Misa’s manager after she was released from quarantined?
44. Why were they in the room where Rem became ashes when L showed Light’s dad that he wrote his own name in the DN? Can’t they talk elsewhere?
45. What happened to Rem’s ashes then? Are his iron earrings still usable?
46. What’s so bad about being non-existent after you die? I mean, for DN users who can neither go to heaven nor hell.

This scene is weird.
48. Non DN users will not lose their memory regarding DN? (thinks investigation team)

L is cuter when he tries to walk straight.

Misa cried when Light hugged her. When he looked at her face to face after that, her eyes are totally dry. So Light has dry-cleaning ability too?

Where can I get this mask of L’s?
52. Like my friend, I miss Light when I watch L: Change the World. Because of his resemblance to Ohno? Hmm, maybe.

How many times does Light have to poke himself with the pin to write Takada Kiyomi’s name on the piece of DN paper in his watch? Surely one single drop of blood will not be sufficient to write the 4 kanji characters – and to have them written so visibly.
54. How come Takada Kiyomi became sexier after getting DN? DN has beautifying effect?
55. I pity L. he wrote his name in the DN because he didn’t want Light to kill him first. But neither Light nor Misa had the chance to write his name. So it’s like he killed himself. At least he did describe that he died peacefully in his sleep.
